Wren Zhawenim Gotts Travels to Santa Fe

Wren Zhawenim Gotts, seven years old, had the opportunity to perform in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in June.

Forest Rebecca Gotts shared, “We are thankful to the LaRance family for Wren’s invite to perform with the world class Lightning Boy Youth Hoop Dancers.”

“We were star-struck by these talented athletes and cultural teachers, and Wren was truly inspired to continue learning more and grow her knowledge of the hoop dance.”

“Wren felt so good being able to share here language and represent her Sokaogon Tribe as princess and hoop dancer,” Forest Rebecca continued.

Forest said that Wren began learning the basics of hoop dancing when she was three years old from world champion Nakota LaRance.
