Volunteers Making a Difference – Joshua Quade

Joshua Quade, a Tribal Member attending Norwalk Community Technical College, has found his community service niche in the development of the SCC Health Clinic Facebook page.
Joshua’s interest in computers led him to be accepted into a prestigious STEM program with IBM Corporation. This program includes college-level classes and on-the-job experience.

Beyond computers, Joshua enjoys helping people and his community. He found the perfect project to combine his computer skills with his service attitude. Please visit and like the Clinic’s new Facebook page at fb.me/scchealthclinic.

In addition to the Facebook page, Joshua has been redesigning the Clinic’s dental program flyers and will embark on refining the Clinic’s website. He believes informing the community of the Clinic’s offerings on social media is important.

Joshua sees these projects as assisting him in exploring potential career endeavors such as being a web designer. He hopes to have client interaction and to translate computer jargon in laymen’s terms on social media.
