Joe Milan, a senior at Laona High School, presented a check for funds she helped raise for a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the Forest County Sheriff’s office.
Joe raised $981, and the Sokaogon Chippewa Community and CoVantage Credit Union contributed the additional funds needed.
“Being on the rescue squad and helping out I took that as, I need to step up and help our first responder family and get that AED because it is a very crucial piece of equipment,” said Milan in an interview with Kyle Pozorski, WJFW Channel 12.
