Tribe Donates $99,000 to Area Organizations

This past Monday, the Sokaogon Chippewa Community held a banquet at the Mole Lake Casino Lodge.
The event gathered 22 area organizations to receive $99,314.95 from the Tribe as part of the Wisconsin Gaming Compact agreement.

Tribal Council Members presented checks to:
- Sno-Devils Snowmobile Club – $2,000.00
- Elcho Area Silent Sports Club – $1,814.95
- Pelican Lake Fire District – $4,000.00
- Pelican Lake Area Chamber of Commerce – $1,000.00
- Pel-Cho Mudd Nutz – $2,000.00
- Forest County ATV Association – $2,000.00
- New Hope Shelter Midwest Indian Mission – $3,000.00
- Forest County Highway Department – $2,000.00
- Forest County Humane Society – $4,000.00
- Roberts Lake Association – $5,000.00
- Pickerel/Crane Protection & Rehabilitation District – $4,000.00
- Trump Lake Protective Association – $2,000.00
- Crandon Area Rescue Squad – $12,500.00
- Crandon Fire Department – $12,500.00
- Crandon High School – $17,000.00
- Animal Resource Fund – $2,000.00
- Waba-Nun Nung Gospel Chapel – $3,000.00
- River Alliance of Wisconsin – $10,000.00
- Three Lakes Fish & Wildlife Improvement Association – $5,000.00
- Three Lakes Brule River Trails – $500.00
