Tribal Aging and Disability Resources

The Tribal Aging and Disability Resources program helps community members with locating publicly funded, long-term care programs.
Tawny Booth, the Medicaid Outreach Coordinator, is working with Amanda Thompson at the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council (GLITC) to provide Tribal Aging and Disability Resources and connect Elders with community services.
Tawny and Amanda can provide information and assistance regarding questions about private and government programs including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and Senior Care, and offer assistance with application processes.
Tawny also works with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Northwoods to ensure that Tribal Members receive culturally appropriate information on aging and disability resources, and have effective access to long-term care programs and services.
