Take Care in the Frigid Temperatures, Spear Making Workshop and Ice Fishing Tournament Postponed
Posted on: January 20, 2022
Good Morning,
We hope you are doing well and staying warm.
The Spear Making Cultural Workshop scheduled for this weekend, and the Ice Fishing Tournament scheduled for January 30th, have been postponed. As we receive more information on events, we will share it with you here and on the Tribe’s Facebook page.
Tribal offices remain closed through January 30th due to rising COVID-19 cases.
Tribal businesses are open including the Casino, the C-Store, the Clinic and SFI. Housing emergencies and Roads are available as needed. Family Services employees are working from home and someone is on call at all times.

As we experience very cold temperatures, please take care of yourself, Elders and pets. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory, with possible wind chills as low as 30 below zero.
Dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
