Tabitha Renkas and Lynzee McGeshick Recognized

Tribal Members Tabitha Renkas and Lynzee McGeshick, juniors at Crandon High School and both players on the Varsity Lady Cards Basketball Team, were recognized at Tuesday night’s awards banquet.

The Crandon Lady Cards finished the 2018-19 season as Conference & Regional Champions, but lost the Sectional Finals to the Colby Hornets after a hard fight.

Tabitha received her 3rd year Varsity Letter, MVP, Hustle Award, 1st Team All-Conference, Northern Lakes Conference Player of the Year and All-State Honorable Mention.

This season Lynzee received her 3rd year Varsity Letter and Hustle Award.

Unfortunately, Lynzee injured her ACL in the first half of the Regional Finals game against Crivitz and was unable to play in the Sectional Championship game. Lynzee was also invited to participate in the Down Under Sports Tournament in Australia this summer but will be unable to attend due to her injury. We wish her the best of luck in her surgery and recovery.
