SCC Police Department
The Sokaogon Chippewa Community Police Department (SCCPD) is committed to serving and providing protection for the Sokaogon Chippewa Community.
The SCCPD strives to deliver professional and timely services to the members of the community. We are committed to enhancing our bond with the community and reduce criminal activity through problem-oriented, community-oriented policing efforts and by partnering with the residents to discuss and address their concerns openly.
The SCCPD has a Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement with Forest to provide Law Enforcement and dispatching services.
The SCCPD officers are Wisconsin State Certified Tribal Law Enforcement Officers and are empowered to enforce Tribal, State, Federal (when applicable), Criminal Law. The SCCPD also enforces Tribal regulatory laws and Tribal ordinances.
The Forest County Sheriff’s Department provides dispatching services for our Department. If you need the assistance of an officer, please call (715) 478-3331 ext. 3, or in an Emergency, please call 911.
