Ryan Ensley Wins the License Plate Design Contest

The Tribal Council is pleased to announce the winner of $500 for Tribal License Plate Contest is Ryan Ensley.

The winner was selected at the Tribal Council Meeting on February 19th, with both Council and community members voting.

Ryan is a Tribal Member, and has been serving in the U.S. Army for 16 years. He was recently deployed to Afghanistan, and is excited his entry won.

His daughter Olivia wanted to enter the contest, but not without her daddy entering too. So they both submitted drawings. Olivia joked with her daddy that she should get some of the winnings because, if it wasn’t for her asking him to submit an entry, he wouldn’t have won.

The license plate design will be sent to a graphic designer for enhancement, and the project will move forward as outlined by the regulations of the Tribe’s contract with the state. We look forward to sharing more updates as the project unfolds.
