Paco Fralick Receives Outstanding Achievement Award

Dr. Paco Fralick was awarded a Silver Medallion-Outstanding Achievement Award, and received recognition as a Break Through Artist for his lyrics and songwriting abilities at the 2019 Global Music Awards. The global competition announced award winners on June 19th, and Paco was also recognized in the category of Listener Impact: Motivational & Inspirational.
The competition receives entries from around the world representing a wide variety of genres and selects winners each quarter. According to the Global Music Awards website, “Established in 2011, the Global Music Awards is a well-known international music competition which celebrates independent musicians. The Global Music Awards are widely recognized by industry insiders as giving legitimacy to highly talented artists, and is recognized as music’s golden seal of approval.”

Earlier this week, Paco was also selected for the Global Music Awards’ Top Albums of Summer 2019. The announcement stated, “This contemporary Native American Objiwe singer/songwriter excels with lyrics and vocals that are original, authentic and speak of the world of everyday people. He is a profound artist in the tradition of Guthrie & Dylan.”

At the 2018 Native American Music Awards, Paco won the 2018 Song of the Year and was nominated in five categories. He was also the recipient of three awards at the 2018 Indian Summer Music Awards (ISMA) for Best Folk Song- Women & Water (with Michael Bucher), Best Country Song- I’m Moving On, and Best Spiritual Song- In Seven Generations.
