Oneida Nation is Supporting Creativity

Deadline to Apply is May 24th

Dollars for Arts Program (DAP) provides funds to support excellence, innovations and the development of the arts and culture. The arts can include both traditional and contemporary styles in dance, literature, music, theatre and visual arts.

DAP has been supporting creativity since 1999, and is a re-granting program funded by the Wisconsin Arts Board and the Oneida Nation. You may select from the three granting opportunities below and apply to qualify for grant funding for your creative, artistic projects that support the local and surrounding communities.

  • Oneida Fellowship Award – $1,000 cash award to an Oneida enrolled Tribal Member for artistic excellence in the Oneida community. There is a maximum of two Fellowships available per fiscal year. If you have received a Fellowship from the Oneida Nation Arts Program in the last three years, or received an Artist Development Award in the current fiscal year, you are not eligible for this award in fiscal 2021.
  • Community Awards – available to all community groups or Tribal programs for arts projects that are new and innovative or significantly enhance an existing program in the community.
  • Artist Development Awards – available to all individuals in the community who have identified a special project that will enhance their professional development and benefit our communities.

The deadline for submitting grant applications is Monday, May 24, 2021, for activities occurring June 1, 2021, through January 28, 2022.

The applications are available through the Oneida Nation Arts Program’s website.

If you have any questions or wish to receive a hard copy of the application, email Gabrielle Metoxen or call 920-490-3835.
