Kobe Gallion is Our Newest Law Enforcement Officer

Today is Kobe Gallion’s 22nd birthday, and he is celebrating as the newest member of the Sokaogon Chippewa Police Department.

Kobe was sworn on Tuesday in by Jeanine L. Hill, Chief Judge of the Sokaogon Chippewa Tribal Court.

Kobe graduated from Crandon High School, and is enrolled in the Law Enforcement Academy at Nicolet College. He will serve the community while completing the Academy.

“It has been a dream since 2018 to be in Law Enforcement, since I started first response with the Crandon Fire Department and Crandon Rescue as a driver,” Kobe said.

Kobe will graduate in May, and shared, “It’s a great honor to be chosen to take on such an important role in my Tribal community as a Police Officer. I hope to not only keep law in my community, but be a role model for other youth coming up. To be chosen to be that person to bring law enforcement and Tribal Members together is nerve racking but also at the same time very exciting. I can’t wait to start my career in not only a community that I know, but that is also my home.”

Happy Birthday Kobe, and congratulations on your achievements!
