Jordan Marvin is Director of HR at ICS

The Indian Community School (ICS) Board of Directors is pleased to announce Jordan Marvin as the school’s new Director of Human Resources. Mr. Marvin is a Tribal Member of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community Mole Lake Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. He is also a Veteran of the U.S. Army, ranked as Captain, and has served in HR roles for the Department of Defense in Dallas, Texas, and overseas in Belgium and Germany. its, and policy activities of the Indian Community School, to ensure legal compliance and implementation of the school’s mission and talent strategy.

Jordan Marvin’s HR leadership experience includes nine years for the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense, where he held management positions as Deputy Director and Senior Manager. He earned a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management at Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri, in 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2013.

“As a Tribal Member of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community and the first college graduate in my family, I understand the critical role education plays in the lives of Native American youth. I recognize the importance of respecting and honoring our history, culture and traditions,” Mr. Marvin said.
