Sokaogon Chippewa Community News
Jamie Zarda is the New Health Director

Jamie has been employed at the Clinic as the Medicare Outreach Specialist prior to accepting her new role serving the community. “My passion is working in a Tribal health care system,” she shared.
Jamie moved here from Oshkosh with a desire to live in a small rural community. “I attended upper Iowa University with an undergraduate degree in Business Management,” she said. She explained that she has worked in the healthcare field for 20 years, with seven years in the area of healthcare insurance management.
“My mission is to ensure that all members are taken care of and we bring more services to our Clinic,” Jamie said.
During the past several months she has been working closely with members of the Sokaogon Chippewa Health Board in modifying and expanding a full variety of health programs to expand and broaden the ability to provide optimum service to Tribal Members and community members. “I want the members of the community to get the best care right here at our Clinic,” Jamie said.
A new marketing project headed by Jamie includes an advertising campaign designed to reach as many people as possible and sign up new clients to the Clinic. A newspaper ad is currently running locally to target new patients and offers incentives to visit the Clinic.
Jamie is working with the Mole Lake Casino marketing department to create a variety of media promotions including print, radio and possibly billboards, along with more in-house and additional direct mail programs.
Take time to stop by the Clinic and give Jamie a hearty welcome!
