Governor Tony Evers: Remain Vigilant
Posted on: December 3, 2020
On Tuesday, Wisconsin reported a daily death count that surpassed 100 – for the second time.
“As we continue to move through the holiday season and winter months, we must be as vigilant as ever,” said Governor Evers.
“Wisconsin is in crisis right now. It took us seven and a half months to get to our first 100,000 cases. It took us 35 days to get to 200,000 cases. By November 13th – 18 days later – we have added another 100,000 cases. Now, we’ve reached December, and are nearing 400,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 here in said Andrea Palm, Department of Health Services Secretary-designee.
