Dental Clinic Welcomes Kristine Pfefferle

On December 30, 2019, the SCC Dental Clinic and Dr. Roya welcomed Kristine Pfefferle as a new Dental Assistant.

Kristine is originally from Appleton and moved to Pickerel in 2004. Prior to joining the Dental Clinic team, she worked at the Forest County Potawatomi Insurance Department and the Aspirus Antigo Clinic.

“I love it here; I absolutely love it. I’ve always been in patient care in some form,” Kristine shared. “In my former position, I worked in the Forest County Potawatomi Insurance Department, and I missed the interaction with patients.”

“Dr. Roya is awesome and fun to work with. She’s wonderful with patients. I just heard from two people who told me they were worried about coming to see a dentist, and after their visits, they both said they don’t worry anymore,” she continued.

Kristine is also a Phlebotomist and helps in the lab. She is currently assisting Rhonda by prepping patient rooms and working on fillings. She’s looking forward to working with the Dentix patient system and welcoming Bobbie Halada, the new Dental Manager who will join the Dental Center next week.

Kristine is married, and likes to snowmobile in the winter and travel to Indiana in the summer for sprint car races.
