Attention Sokaogon Chippewa Tribal Members Enrolled in College

SCC Higher Learning Scholarship Letter Five $2,000 scholarships are available through the Sokaogon Chippewa Community (SCC).

We are working to help our Membership alleviate any hardship or burden that they may encounter while obtaining their degree. There will be five scholarships available. The scholarships will be awarded based on why the student should be granted the SCC Higher Learning Scholarship.

Please submit all scholarships along with your College acceptance letter to:

Qualifications:

  • Accepted and enrolled with an accredited college, university, or technical college
  • Enrolled Member of Sokaogon Chippewa Community
  • Submit an essay stating why they feel they are eligible
  • Awarded scholarships will be used to alleviate any unpaid courses and books. Second, any unforeseen fees, expenses that they encounter throughout their school term. (ie. gas, babysitters, etc.).

Deadline date for submission: January 23, 2020 by 5:00 p.m.

Award date: January 24, 2020

Scholarship grant will be paid during the week of January 27, 2020.
