Youth Excel in Volleyball

Congratulations to our youth who had a terrific volleyball season this year!

Lynzee McGeshick is a junior, and led the team in digs (150) and serve receive passes (236) this season. Lynzee was a true leader both on and off the court. She played with dedication and passion every time she was on the court, and always worked to improve her skills. Lynzee earned Second Team All-Conference Awards, and the team voted to give her the Defensive Award this season for all of her hard work.

Bella Toyebo is in 8th grade and was asked to become a Manager for the Varsity Volleyball Team because of her passion and love for the sport as well, as her hard-working attitude. Some of Bella’s duties included helping run drills during practice, working the video camera during the match so coaches could take stats afterwards, helping shag volleyballs during pre-game warm-ups, and cheering on the team when needed.

Navada Peterson is a junior and was the Video Manager for the Junior/Senior Varsity team this year.

The Lady Cardinals fought their way to Second Team All Conference, with a season overall of 16-10-2.

Congratulations Lynzee, Bella and Navada on your accomplishments!
