Summer Youth Work with Environmental Department

The Summer youth working with the Sokaogon Chippewa Community Environmental Department spent the day in Phelps planting with the U.S. Forest Service.

“Basically, we spend two weeks every summer with the U.S. Forest Service,” Tina Van Zile, Environmental Director, said. “We planted a number of plants for a pollinator project as well as roughly 500 trees.”
