SCC Health Center Welcomes New Dentistry Team

The SCC Health Center recently welcomed a group of professionals to provide dental services to the community.

Dr. Roya Rahnamayi, DDS, joined the SCC Health Center on November 4th. She graduated from the Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1994, and has practiced in Wausau since 2017.

Dr. Rahnamayi and her husband recently relocated to Crandon and lives by Lake Lucerne. As she spoke of her new home, she shared, “It’s so pretty!”

Dr. Rahnamayi is welcoming new patients, and is at the SCC Health Center Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

While Dr. Rahnamayi provides all general dentistry services, she works a great deal with children. “We have modern offices with state-of-the-art digital equipment, and we offer nitrous oxide, which is a safe and effective means of managing pain and anxiety during visits.”

Joining Dr. Rahnamayi is Maria Hernandez, Dr. Rahnamayi’s Dental Assistant. Maria joined the SCC Health Center on October 15th. She’s originally from McAllen, Texas, and has been in the Northwoods for 10 years.

Maria has more than 30 years of professional experience. Prior to joining the SCC Health Center, she worked at the Marshfield Dental Clinic and the Peter Christensen Dental Clinic.

“I like going out in the woods and taking pictures. I haven’t lived anywhere as beautiful as Wisconsin,” Maria shared.

Dr. Rahnamayi and Maria are excited to be a part of the SCC Health Center. “We understand about dental phobias. We hope you’ll come and meet us. We want to build trust,” Maria said.
