Record Numbers for Veterans Annual Golf Outing

The 2nd Annual Mole Lake Veterans Golf Outing sponsored by the Sokaogon Mole Lake Veterans, brought a record number of golfers on Friday, July 27th.

A total of 84 participants broken down into 21, four-person teams, came from across the state and from Minnesota as well. All golfers participating in the event wore specially designed red Sokaogon Veterans T-shirts to commemorate the event.

Sokaogon Chippewa Elders Debra VanZile and brother Carl VanZile oversaw the many fabulous prizes donated by area businesses to support ongoing veterans programs, making the day extra special for all.

A special “thank you” goes out to all businesses who donated prizes or money as well as to volunteers who dedicated both time and effort in another very successful event.
