Record-Breaking Mole Lake Jeep Jamboree
By Richard D. Ackley, Jr.
The 23rd Northwoods Mole Lake Jeep Jamboree held in Crandon last weekend was a record-breaking event this year according to Jeep Jamboree President John Lewins of Antigo.
“We had 150 jeeps registered this year!”
“We have Jeep enthusiasts here from coast to coast,” Lewins stated. “Jeep owners came to Mole Lake from as far away as Washington State and New York State.”
This one-of-a-kind fabulous off-road and uniquely competitive trail ride testing the skill of both driver and Jeep 4×4 took place on the deeply forested back-lands of the Sokaogon Mole Lake Chippewa.
The beautiful weather helped make it the largest Jeep Jamboree thus far.
